In October 2008, Casey began the Memphis Police Academy and on March 5th, 2009 he graduated. A very long process and not much time for socialization, yet he met so many officers whom he will never forget. Among his 103rd graduating class, there was one special person, Mark, who has been there for him since day one!

Mark is from Iowa and came down to Memphis to join the MPD. He lived by himself through the Academy and shortly after graduation, his girlfriend Kristine moved down to Memphis. I had met Mark and Kristine a few times when Kristine would come in town to visit. Kristine and I always seemed to have so much to talk and laugh about. Whether it was about the guys going through the Academy or just life in general. And of course Lila loves Kristine and Mark so much...especially their doggies...Jackson & Dixie.

So from the day we met these two wonderful people...we have been the best of friends since. And, tomorrow...THEY'RE GETTING MARRIED!!! We are so LUCKY and blessed to not only have Mark and Kristine in our lives but even more blessed to share their special day with them. (Lila is the flower girl, I'm a bridesmaid and Casey is a groomsman).
